The Regular visitors to these pages are aware that the Crisis Stands in Solidarity with the California Prison Hunger strikers. Each Thursday at 5:00 PM for the 5 Demands I and my comrades try to get the word out to a populace poorly served by local media about the plight of men and women in solitary confinement. We started on the Plaza in Arcata and have recently been gathering at the 3rd street side of Clark Plaza in Eureka. In a little change of pace this week we took our show on the road to the California capital to show the members of the Public Safety committee that We will not forget these brave Human Beings that have risked their lives for Human rights. The committee was holding hearings on the damage that long term solitary confinement does to society. Here is the day in pictures.
