Running off at the Keyboard.
Happy Halloween
Do enjoy the costumes and around our neck of the woods the,"Harvest" festivals that permeate the fall. this year I am trying something new and at the stroke of midnight I will be starting on this new project. November is National Novel Writing Month and I am participating.
The idea is to write a 50,000 word novel in 30 days. Trying to write as fast as you can pouring out words to create? What exactly I am not sure. The rules allow you to work on an outline in advance but for the actual prose you must wait till midnight ! November 2009 to start.
I will post some excerpts here from time to time as I go to share a bit of "The Socrates Code" with you all. And yes I know that is Plato.

Wind in the trees
Home feeling poorly, watching the wind rustle the trees from an antihistamine induced fog. Seems peaceful but it could just be my state of mind. Enjoy.
A revised version with some tunes added.

350 Day Of Action
Spent the day riding around old town. Left my 350 mark. That is 350 PPM (parts per million) of CO2 in the atmosphere.
Watched the costumed children wander about and watched a little speed pumpkin carving.

A little noise on a cold day
Today is the Blog Action Day on Climate Change. We must limit our time above 350. That is 350 parts per million of Carbon dioxide in the atmosphere.
It is time for urgent action: "Continued growth of greenhouse gas emissions, for just another decade, practically eliminates the possibility of near-term return of atmospheric composition beneath the tipping level for catastrophic effects."
October 24th 2009 is the day planned for mass promotion. check out the link and put in a few minutes if you can.
